I was looking through some very recent pictures today, and I ran across this one above. It took me the longest time trying to find the critter I was watching while I took this picture. After I got done playing my little game of hide and seek I thought maybe you would have fun with it too.
Now for the rules. All you have to do is examine the photo above until you find the critter that is hidden there. Then in the comments section describe where you think it is in the best way you can. Even if somebody else already picks what you think is the correct guess, you can still choose that same one. This game is only for fun, just like all of my others. So there are no guaranteed prizes, but there is a fun feeling of satisfaction if you guess right.
The game this time could be incredibly easy or incredibly hard. It took me some time to find the critter, but when I found it I discovered that is was obvious. I hope it is a challenge for you but you can find it in the end. I'll reveal where the critter is tomorrow along with a fun story and some stunning pictures. I'll even tell you the identity this critter. Happy hunting!
Ratty looks like I might be first. Well I reckon I can see a furry ball between the two trees to the right near the bottom of the frame.
ReplyDeleteOn the other hand I may need new reading glasses.
WooHoo - this might just be your best one Ratty! I'm not entirely sure, but it looks like there might be a little critter almost dead center of the picture at the juncture of the branch and the tree (nose pointed south?) Yeesh, I'm gettin' old *grin*. Had my nose plastered up against my monitor and I'm still not sure :o)
ReplyDeleteI think the furry ball is blending in by the bottom of the picture, between the two trees on the right..
ReplyDeleteNuthatch. Head down. Just below dead center, on left side of largest tree.
ReplyDeletethis one was tough :(
ReplyDeleteCouldn't see anything till I read these comments! I'm going with what Dutchman says but it looks like some kind of tree creeper to me. I got a picture this weekend of tree creeper and it looks just like that! Unless a Nuthatch is a tree creeper?!
Good game!
I think there is a nuthatch going down the left side of the big tree. It has momentarily lifted its head to look at something, or listen to you. There is also a colony of bugs sleeping under the bark. I have x-ray vision.
ReplyDeleteWOW. That was hard. Very hard. The nuthatch is so well blended I must agree this was the hardest yet. I love these games. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteeven after reading the comments, i couldn't see it...lol.
ReplyDeletestopping in to say hi and wish you a wonderful day...hugz!
There a cocoon on the tree to the left and the centre tree is a dryad!
ReplyDeleteI had to enlarge the picture to find it but I believe that it is about in the middle of the picture near the bottom. It's something coming down that one tree, perhaps a squirrel? Now I'm going to go read the rest of the comments and see if that's what everyone else said :)
ReplyDeleteI see a bushy tail and a critter running down the tree between the two trees on the right...a gray squirrel???
ReplyDeleteThe critter is aiming at the http:...
ReplyDeleteIt may think of clicking and do some blogging as well.
It's very difficult to stump a kitty, but you totally have me stumped! Unless it's the blurry thing a couple of others have alluded to.
ReplyDeleteI don't see the nuthatch or the squirrel. But there seems to be something to the left of the big tree, in the distance on smaller branches. There is a green tree just behind. Probably one of my imaginary creatures!
