An Early Morning View Of Nature

Do these pictures look nice? I'm not really sure. To me, they look like chaos. I've always hesitated on sharing pictures like these because of this. But I have them for you today because I realized that much of nature seems like chaos. A beautiful chaos.

There's so much green and brown in these pictures. And there's no real defined subject point to look at. You just kind of look everywhere. Maybe there is a kind of beauty in the chaos. Nature itself is beautiful, and this is nature if nothing else.

I took these pictures on another early morning walk around town. The light is a little dim because the sun was just coming up. The whole world seemed alive with nature activity. There were birds singing everywhere. And I saw little movements all around me.

The smell of the world seems so fresh this early in the morning. there is a dampness to the air as well. It almost feels like a lingering rain, but the sunlight takes that feeling away too. There may not be a better feeling to the world than at this time of day. Everything is new and waking up.

And now I have a new episode of Rat TV for you. It's nothing fancy because I have a new video editor which I haven't learned yet. So no fancy graphics to interrupt the video this time. It's just a video of the morning.

The real reason I made the video was for you to hear what I heard. You can see what I show in the pictures, but the video has sound as well. The sound is the important thing here. Don't worry, the video lasts for only about thirty seconds. So you won't have to suffer through a long movie. You'll like this because it's just soothing nature sounds.

Maybe one of these next times we'll take a closer look at some of these plants. I like looking at them, but I have trouble writing about them. So I'll have to come up with something at least a little bit interesting to say. But who knows? Maybe I'll come across a skunk or something before that.

So we come to the end of another everyday adventure. My little adventures aren't meant to blow you away. They're just here to give you a small pleasant feeling. That's what nature is for. And the main thing to remember is that everyone can experience this. I'll talk to you later.

All New Neighborhood Rabbits

I just took my first walk around town. I decided to start off light, so I only took my phone camera, not my big one. I knew I'd kind of regret it, but I just wanted to get started. There would be other days.

Guess what was the first thing I saw. Rabbits! They went running in front of me just a little too far away for my phone camera to get good pictures. The big camera would have been perfect. Next time.

Luckily, one rabbit stopped not too far in front of me. I got a few bad pictures so you will have trouble seeing the rabbits. If you look very close you can see the rabbit there. It's camouflaged very well. Don't you think?

Sometimes I can get beautiful pictures and sometimes I can't. The pictures are usually only part of the story though, as they are this time. The real story here is that these are my first results from this new everyday adventure.

This post is also a bit smaller than my last two. The last two were nice meals compared to the little snack you get here. Sometimes these little snack posts are easier to take when a person is busy. I'll have many more of them, but they will be more often than the others. Will you be able to keep up?

I'll have another one of these little posts soon. I'm finding out that I can find lots of stuff on these little walks. The morning is literally alive with activity. Let's see what I find next. I'll talk to you later.

Nature Everywhere

I have lots of pictures for you today with lots of birds. I'm trying to post as much as I can until I finally return to the nature parks at the end of this month. It's not nearly as much as I would like. Seeing the old pictures is fun, but my thoughts about them are from awhile ago.

I kind of like the newer thoughts I come up with more than the old. The new thoughts and adventures are exciting and fun. The old ones are fun, but they've lost their excitement. Still, these old pictures are new to many of you. And nobody has seen some of these before.

And I think I've come up with a fun new idea I'm going to try. I may start it today, and I may wait a little while. Let's see what you think of it. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a dud.

Many years ago I used to take early morning walks around town with my dog. The dog loved it mostly and it was good exercise for me. It was fun because it was like going on a little adventure before I started the rest of my day.

These walks were what I did before I ever knew nature parks existed. I always loved whenever I would come upon even a small nature area along my walk. I remember thinking how much I wanted more of that. So I found my favorite thing in the whole world when I finally found nature parks to explore.

But I always kind of missed my old neighborhood walks too. I always told people that you can find nature even in your own backyard or your own neighborhood. So that's just what I'm going to do.

I'm going to take early morning walks around my tiny town and take pictures of the natural things I find here. From the rabbits to the birds to the bugs and plants, I'm going to find nature. And then I'm going to share it with all of you. And I'll only share the most interesting parts if I can.

This doesn't mean I'm not going to the nature parks. I'll be going to those too. This little neighborhood walk experiment is kind of a side adventure. It's something to add to everything else. This way I'll have even more material to share right here. Just like I said in my last post, I hope to have so much to write that only I can keep up.

Maybe all of this together will give me a much better variety of things to write about. Maybe it will add back the excitement that is needed to do all of this. Like I said, the old pictures are fun, but they lack the excitement of the new.

Okay, that was a lot of pictures, and maybe more words than I realize. So I think I'll end it with that. Let's see if I have something new for you next time. I'm not sure what's going to happen yet. That's what makes it exciting. I'll talk to you later.

Lots Of Cool Animals

I'm back to share some of the pictures of animals I took back in May of 2010. I had lots of adventures back then. Some of these pictures haven't been seen by anybody else but me up until now. I just happened to be digging through my old pictures when I saw these. I thought they needed to be shared.

I'm trying out a different way of doing things with my post this time. I have lots more pictures and I spread out the writing a bit. Let me know how you like it compared to my usual way. I may try both in the future.

I'm showing you these things from the past because right now I don't have any new stuff, and I'm still getting myself back into shape to go on new everyday adventures around here. I'm beginning to make some progress, but it's still kind of hard. I'll be ready to start my new adventures at the end of this month no matter what shape I'm in. I can't wait to start.

I've been doing a lot of research to find all of the available nature areas around here. I now have a list of new places to add to my current nature parks so I can find plenty of new subjects for my nature pictures and stories.

I'm not sure if I'll see lots of animals like in my pictures here, but I know I'll see at least a few here and there. It's possible that the animals have more places to hide in this area of the country, so maybe I won't see the same amount that I saw before. Even if that's the case, I'll still have plenty of things to see.

My plan right now is to make this my best summer for nature from Iowa here on The Everyday Adventurer. Maybe I can even get back to posting more than most of you can keep up with. I haven't been able to do that in a few years. I really am planning to have lots of adventures.

One of the main things I'll be looking for is at least one nature park with lots of trees. I've been frustrated with not finding that up until now. This year I've been spending plenty of time doing research on the parks so I can change that. I've found a few good places to begin. I hope one of these new parks becomes my new favorite.

Even if I don't get what I want with the trees I'm fully prepared to adjust the way I see things at the existing parks. I'll just learn to love what I have. I think I can find plenty of new things to be happy about.

I may have a few more posts before I really get going. I'll try to make them good and entertaining. And I'll try to keep you up on my physical recovery progress. Then when I have the new stuff it will really get fun because I'll be having fun. Hope for the future is always a good thing.

I hope you liked this look at these older animals and the little update about some new stuff. I don't usually like posting this many pictures, but all of these seemed good. And the difference was kind of fun. I'll talk to you later.
