Heritage Park
Now to what I'm here for. Heritage Park is located in Farmington Hills, Michigan on the west side of Farmington Road between Ten and Eleven Mile Roads. This is a 211 acre park with 4.5 miles of trails for hiking and nature study. There's also picnic areas, a playground, and other things. Right now I'm mostly interested in the trails. I've been going back here for a long time and I'm still discovering new things to see. Check out their website for more info.
A Positive Change
At one time I thought I had the most boring life imaginable. I would go to work in the morning, and then come home and do the same things every day. I felt like I was trapped in a box. I started to think long and hard about this problem. I asked people I knew, what they did for fun. The answers were always the same. They would go home and watch TV. On the weekends they would get to rent movies. How exciting. I thought there must be more, because this was awful. I asked more people. They liked to go to the bar and get drunk. Oh what a wonderful time. Destroy your brain with alcohol so you don't have to experience life. Nobody had a good answer, so I decided to find my own answers. I looked wherever I could for anything to do. Some things turned out pretty good. I'm still searching for fun new things to do every day, and I've now realized I'm having fun now. Renting movies or bar crawling may be good for some, but I'd rather be on an everyday adventure.

Nature Trails
Hi to anyone seeing this. This is my first post. In upcoming posts, I will look at nature trails and show locations of a few of my favorites. Nature trails are some of the best free adventures you can find. As time goes on I will show different places to see, and the writing will get better. Any comments are of course welcome.
