I've been having a little trouble coming up with things to say in a post, which is why I'm not posting quite as often as I'd like again. So I thought I'd just share this picture of geese in the water from the same little adventure I talked about in my last post. I meant to show it sooner. I could watch geese swim for hours, and I have. I'll talk to you next time.
What a lovely photo! Sometimes words don't come easy to me too. In those times I try to let my photos do the talking. Sometimes I'll just say one or two things about each photo and then it all starts flowing. I hope you find your words!
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to do a few things to get my writing back. Till then I'm going to try to write a post a little at a time.
DeleteOld friends are back.
ReplyDeleteThe geese, and you.
I hope I can see more geese the more I go out.
DeleteIt is a great picture. Very well balanced.
ReplyDeleteIt was all luck. I took the picture from my truck.
DeleteThat's a nice picture. I like the light blue and soft color of the water. Kind of unusual.
ReplyDeleteI think the Sun was reflecting on the water just right.
DeleteI spent a lot of time at Desota Wildlife area near you during migrations. The ranger let me go into closed off areas.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to try that place for my next big trip. Thanks for the tip.
DeleteGeese are awesome! And um, they taste pretty good too. But don't tell them I said that.
ReplyDeleteI've never tasted goose, but I came close to tasting pheasant once.
DeleteSometimes you don't have to say anything--we just get it.
ReplyDeleteI'm at a loss for posts lately too. It must be the summer. I just want to be outside and doing something other than typing on the computer. :)
The going outside part really does seem to be the easy part of the whole blogging thing right now for some reason.
DeleteIt's a wonderfully calming shot Ratty, I always find watching the wildlife on lakes is calming.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I wish I had a close place where I could go right now to just sit and watch the wildlife on the water. Most of the places like that are a bit of a drive.
Deletei love the framing of your pic, it's so calming, I could see why you could just sit there for hours
ReplyDeleteThis place would make a really nice little nature area if not for all the buildings.
DeleteSometimes a picture is worth a thousand words. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteIt's times like now that the picture has to be worth a few words.
